Question 1

How do I rearrange PDF pages by dragging?

Accepted Answer

Drop the file, then drag thumbnails into the order you want. Download _reordered.pdf. The original stays on disk.

Question 2

Does reordering a PDF also rotate sideways pages?

Accepted Answer

No. Reorder only changes sequence. Use Rotate if a sheet is on its side.

Question 3

Can I delete a page while I reorder?

Accepted Answer

No. Remove the sheet on Remove Pages, then reorder what is left.

Question 4

What is the _reordered.pdf download?

Accepted Answer

A new file with the same pages in the new sequence. Quality is unchanged.

Question 5

Will drag-and-drop reorder work on a long PDF?

Accepted Answer

Yes, though a very long file is slower to thumbnail on a small device. The job still stays in the browser.

Question 6

Can I insert pages from another PDF on this reorder page?

Accepted Answer

No. Use Insert Pages to splice a second PDF at a position, then reorder if the mix is still wrong.

Question 7

Does reorder change file size?

Accepted Answer

Only in small structural ways. Pictures are not recompressed. Compress if the attachment is still heavy.

Question 8

Should I add page numbers before or after I reorder?

Accepted Answer

After. Numbers printed first will follow the old sequence and look wrong.

Question 9

Can I reverse a whole PDF in one move?

Accepted Answer

If the UI offers a reverse control, use it. Otherwise drag from the back of the stack to the front until the order flips.

Question 10

Is the original page order saved anywhere?

Accepted Answer

On the file you dropped. This tool does not overwrite it. Drop that file again if you need the old sequence.

Question 11

Why is a page still upside down after I dragged it?

Accepted Answer

You changed its slot, not its angle. Open Rotate and turn that page 180 degrees.
