Question 1

How do I insert one PDF into another at a specific page?

Accepted Answer

Drop the main PDF and the insert PDF, pick the position, and download the combined file. All pages from the insert file are spliced in at that slot.

Question 2

Can I insert only page 3 from the second PDF?

Accepted Answer

Not as a picker here. Split that page out first, then insert the short file.

Question 3

What insert position puts pages at the front?

Accepted Answer

Use the first slot (position 0). The insert file becomes the new opening pages.

Question 4

Is insert the same as merging PDFs?

Accepted Answer

Merge on the home page stacks whole files. Insert is for a chosen slot inside an existing document.

Question 5

Do the original PDFs get overwritten when I insert pages?

Accepted Answer

No. You download a new combined copy.

Question 6

Will insert keep each page's original size?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Pages are copied. If paper sizes clash, resize the combined file afterward.

Question 7

Can I insert pages from two different PDFs in one pass?

Accepted Answer

One insert file per pass. Repeat, or merge extras into one insert PDF first.

Question 8

Should I reorder before or after I insert?

Accepted Answer

Insert first, then drag if the slot was slightly wrong. Reordering the main file first is fine if that stack was already out of order.

Question 9

Can I insert a Word file directly?

Accepted Answer

Convert the Word file to PDF first, then insert that PDF.

Question 10

Why did every page from the second file show up?

Accepted Answer

That is how this tool works. Split the insert file if you needed a subset.

Question 11

Does insert rotate mismatched scans?

Accepted Answer

No. Rotate either file first if a sheet is sideways, then splice.
