Question 1

How do I rotate one page in a PDF?

Accepted Answer

Drop the file, then use the clockwise or counter-clockwise button on that page. One click is 90 degrees. Download when that sheet sits upright. The original file stays on your device.

Question 2

How do I rotate every page in a PDF at once?

Accepted Answer

Use All CW or All CCW. Every page turns 90 degrees in that direction. Use this when the whole packet is sideways or upside down, not when only a few sheets are wrong.

Question 3

How do I turn a PDF upside down?

Accepted Answer

Click clockwise twice on that page, or use All CW twice if every page is upside down. Two 90 degree turns are 180.

Question 4

Can I rotate a PDF by 45 degrees?

Accepted Answer

No. This tool turns pages in 90 degree steps. That is what PDF page rotation supports here.

Question 5

Does rotating a PDF make the file smaller?

Accepted Answer

No. Rotation sets the page angle. Pictures are not recompressed. Compress the file if size is the problem.

Question 6

Will the original PDF be changed?

Accepted Answer

No. You download a new file named with _rotated. The file you dropped stays where it was until you replace or delete it yourself.

Question 7

Why are only some pages sideways?

Accepted Answer

A mixed scan often has a few sheets that went through the feeder the wrong way. Rotate those pages only. All CW would turn the upright sheets too.

Question 8

I need page 5 to become page 2. Is that Rotate?

Accepted Answer

No. That is Reorder. Rotate turns a sheet in place. It does not change the sequence.

Question 9

The preview looks right. Why is there nothing to download?

Accepted Answer

You still have to save. If every page is still at 0 degrees, the tool will not write a file. Turn at least one page, then download.

Question 10

Can I rotate a password-protected PDF?

Accepted Answer

Yes, after you unlock it with the password you know. This page cannot turn pages from a file it cannot open.

Question 11

The scan is sideways and also too big to email. What should I do first?

Accepted Answer

Rotate so you can read the pages and see which ones to keep. Delete blanks next if you have them. Compress last if the file is still too heavy to send.
