Question 1

Is a signature added here legally binding?

Accepted Answer

No. This is a visual mark: a drawing or an uploaded image. It is not a certificate-based digital signature.

Question 2

Can I upload a signature image instead of drawing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Upload the image and place it on the page. A transparent PNG usually sits cleaner than a photo with a white box.

Question 3

Can I put the signature on more than one page?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Place it on the page you are viewing, then move to another page and place it again where that sheet needs it.

Question 4

Does signing a PDF overwrite the original?

Accepted Answer

No. You download a new copy. Keep the unsigned file if you might need it.

Question 5

Should I flatten a PDF after I sign it?

Accepted Answer

Flatten if fields or annotations still move and you want the mark to sit still. Flatten will not run if the file has nothing to flatten.

Question 6

Should I encrypt a signed PDF?

Accepted Answer

Encrypt the signed download if the next person should need a password to open it.

Question 7

Can I type my name into a signature AcroForm field here?

Accepted Answer

This page places an image. If the PDF has a live text field, fill it on Form Fill, then come back if you still need a drawn mark.

Question 8

Will the signature stay selectable as text?

Accepted Answer

No. It is a picture sitting on the page, not typed letters.

Question 9

Can I remove a signature I already placed in an old download?

Accepted Answer

Not as an undo. Open the unsigned original and sign again.

Question 10

Does this tool witness or timestamp the signature?

Accepted Answer

No. There is no identity provider, certificate, or sealed timestamp.

Question 11

What image types work for a signature upload?

Accepted Answer

A common signature photo or PNG. Transparent backgrounds look less like a sticker. Huge photos may need a smaller place size on the page.
